London Fields (2014 film)

London Fields is a 2015 thriller, directed by Mathew Cullen and written by Roberta Hanley. It is based on the 1989 novel of the same name by Martin Amis. The film stars Billy Bob Thornton as Samson Young, a terminally ill writer who has suffered from writers block for twenty years. The cast also includes Amber Heard, Jim Sturgess, Theo James, Johnny Depp, Cara Delevingne and Jaimie Alexander.

David Cronenberg was attached in 2001 to do a film adaptation of the book, and Amis wrote a draft of the script.
